Loose Change

My dearest friend Dan is studying abroad in India and posting some fantastic photos and prose on his blog My Punim in Pune. He just got a Canon DSLR and we fooled around with it back in The States a few weeks before we left.
Things in London have been great. I’ve gotten to see so much in such a short period of time, especially with the completion of this weekend’s “Love London” program. Thursday night, we all got to attend a fantastic production of Billy Elliot, one of the London Stage’s longest running musicals at the Victoria.
We also explored Fullers Brewery, culminating in the lengthy beer tasting and the purchase of some “Vintage Ale” from 1999. Hard to believe that 1999 is considered vintage but I guess things are different in beer terms.
The days to follow allowed us the exploration of Parliament, the Camden markets, and a flight on the London Eye before a rather rowdy evening at a Superbowl party at the University of London.
Our flat is extraordinary but we’ve been without proper Internet for the better part of three weeks and it has caused me to fall extremely behind on the music scene. However, Real Estate’s Days continues to stay on repeat, along with the new Sleigh Bells single and some various electronic tracks that I’ve been sporadically posting.
Photos and such to come.
